Regulations of the Park

We want you to enjoy a relaxing and carefree holiday. But for the comfort, safety and convenience of yourselves and of other guests, and to enable us to fulfil our legal and contractual obligations, we ask you to observe the following rules.

1. No Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in any of the lodges, or inside any of the other buildings in the park. Smoking is allowed outside, but please use the ash bins provided to dispose of cigarette ends.

2. Dogs

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept under control at all times. They should not be allowed outside alone. You may walk your dog in the park, but any fouling must be cleared up immediately. Ask staff at Reception about suitable walks in the area. Dogs must not be allowed on to beds or chairs in the lodge. You must not leave your dog alone in the lodge if you are away from the park. If you want to go to an event or attraction to which you cannot take your dog, please ask for details of local dog day-care providers.

3. Children

Children must be adequately supervised, particularly when using play equipment. Parents /carers are responsible for their children’s safety and for ensuring that they follow any health and safety instructions and notices.

4. The swimming-pool

Children under 16 are not allowed into the pool unaccompanied, and must be supervised by an adult (18 or over).

5. Hot tubs

Guests using hot tubs must follow the health and safety instructions displayed in the lodges with hot tubs.

6. Behaviour of guests

Guests must behave with due consideration for others, and must avoid causing disturbance to others by excessive noise, particularly during the hours between 10pm and 8am. We reserve the right to require any person to vacate their accommodation immediately in the event of their behaviour being unreasonable, dangerous or significantly annoying to others, or should such person cause damage to property either of the park or of other guests. No refund will be payable in such a case. You must report any breakages or damage, however occurring, to staff as soon as possible, and you accept liability for any damage or breakages caused by you. On departure, you must leave your lodge reasonably clean. If the lodge is left in such a state that it is exceptionally difficult to clean, you will be charged for the extra time taken by cleaners at £20 per hour. Guests should comply with instructions displayed in the lodges and elsewhere in the park regarding health and safety measures.

7. Property

You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. We do not accept any liability to you in respect of damage to or loss of such property, except where the damage or loss is caused by our negligence.

8. Arrival and departure

While we do our best to have your lodge ready for you as early as possible we cannot guarantee to have it ready before the normal take-over time of 4pm. If you wish to arrive before 4pm, please contact us first to ask whether an earlier arrival time will be possible. Please arrange to vacate your lodge by 10am on the day of your departure, so that we can get it ready for our next guests. If you wish to leave later than 10am, you must ask in advance whether this will be possible.

9. Complaints

If anything in your lodge or elsewhere in the park is not to your satisfaction, please contact staff as soon as possible, and we will try to put things right. Please do not wait till after the end of your holiday to inform us of any problem; if you notify us immediately of any concern you may have, we will hopefully be able to rectify it straight away, so that you can enjoy your holiday.
